Scalgar

As it evolves, Scalgar develops a far sturdier shell: its scales grow thick and angular, like mineral plates. It can absorb heavy energy impacts without cracking. It moves slowly, but every motion is heavy and controlled — on the battlefield, it acts as a mobile wall behind which more fragile creatures take cover.
